There are hundres of varities of Jujubes in the world, each having its own unique characteristics and its primary use however in Western Australia, we are limited in the type of stock that is available, so the primary varities currently grown in Western Australia include,
- Chico
- Li (This variety with its large sweet fruit is grown at Great Southern Jujubes)
- Sui Men
- Tajan
- Thornless
There are 18 Varieties known to exist in Australia and many are grafts onto the Root Stock of "Jin-Si-Lin".
